Very satisfying show at the Masonic Temple last night. Obviously a lot of
rehearsing has been going on. It's always a treat to see what
arrangements Bob and the band come up with. The sound and mic issues that
may have existed earlier in the tour are gone. Bob's vocal was clear and
strong throughout. Man in the Long Black Coat and Masterpiece were
personal highlights for me. I've wanted to hear Long Black Coat for a
very long time and my patience was finally rewarded. Most songs were
reworked and had a bluesy dusty western feel that really worked. Gone is
Bob's piano replaced by electric keyboard which added to the show. He
played it with fervor with very few clunker notes. To Bob, if you read
these reviews please know you sound Forever Young and I hope you tour for
many years to come.
