by 3:30. I managed to be in the 23rd row of folding chairs with a
wonderful view! I caught half of Turnpike Troubadour's set. They were a
decent country band but we all know we were just waiting for Bob. He took
the stage at 8 with no fanfare or introduction and launched right into
Masters of War. The stage setup was the usual for this tour with the foil
piano and the little light on top. Bob was in fine voice and played the
heck out of that piano. Standouts for me were Watchtower and Desolation
Row and the crowd was appreciative of those standards, although there was
the usual talking throughout the show. I was sad that he swapped
Positively 4th Street for Sometime After Midnight because I have not seen
that one live yet. I'm hoping it shows back up in Holmdel NJ when I see
him next. All around really good show. His voice is better than it was
years ago and the band is tight. Don't Think Twice was a sweet finale.
